Mackenzie College provides many opportuities for student leadership. Whether as coach or captain of a sports team, a reading buddy, leading a group activity in class or supporting another student through a difficult time, all students can make a contribution to the wider life of the college while developing their ability to relate to others and their leadership skills.
Senior students can in addition, lead their form class and house groups. Year 13 students are all used as Peer Support Leaders after the training camp held at Raincliff.
Four Head Students are selected at the the end of the year after school elections and interviews. Our 2009 Head Students are Jared Mulligan and Georgia Bell with Cain Pullar and Lucy Gaudin as Deputies.
The Student Board Leaders are Brooke Candy as Chairperson, Ashley Barlow as Secretary and Cameron Gibb as Treasurer.
An election for the student representative on the BOT is held in term 3 each year. The current representative is Brooke Candy.
